The basic principle for the alpha duo is essentially the same as for the alpha mono. However, it is twice as wide in order to accommodate a 2nd work space. The electrolyte tank and the switching cabinet were also widened. It is also possible to use the entire work space for very large equipment.
A big advantage is that only one controller is needed for either alternating operation or, with the appropriate equipment, parallel operation of both stations.
